The station is owned by the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE Inc., as part of a twinstick with London-based CTV 2 station CFPL-DT, channel 10 (although the two stations maintain separate operations).

CKCO-DT's studios are located at 864 King Street West (across from the Grand River Hospital and the Ion rapid transit light rail station adjacent to the Waterloo border) in Kitchener, and its transmitter is located at Baden Tower between Snyders Road East and Highway 7 in Baden, just west of the Kitchener city limits.
